Our very own Massage therapist in residence, Katrina, offers relaxation and Deep Tissue Massage in studio ~ a strong and beautiful flowing sequence incorporating Aromatherapy; all carefully tailored to address specific health, muscle, hormone, or emotional concerns.

Yoga Therapy involves using yoga, amongst other wellness tools, to provide an integrative approach to the treatment of an acute or chronic condition or injury, creating a holistic program for long-term health. A yoga therapy session puts you in the drivers seat of your own health, empowering you with a tool kit of practices to support your goals.
Conducted in a one-on-one clinical setting, yoga therapy session are perfect for those with a condition or injury that prevents them from participating in studio yoga classes or have a long term issue that needs more support than a private session.
Yoga Therapy involves an initial assessment, of both physical and emotional needs, and then creation of a program to help achieve long term improved health. There is no “one method fits all” approach ~ Yoga Therapy treats the person, not the symptoms. Whilst programs may predominantly consist of yoga practices (movement, breath & meditation), they may also explore tools & principles of somatic movement therapy, TCM & Ayurveda.

Yoga is a very personal practice; a therapeutic art that was traditionally taught one-on-one. We offer both private yoga sessions and yoga therapy consultants at Makai Yoga Collective.
Private classes include time for conversation and exploration to tailor the session to your individual needs. They allow the opportunity to craft a personal practice for your individual landscape. Guided by your goals and needs, you may choose to focus on physical or emotional challenges, deepening elements of your practice such as physical stability, flexibility, mental steadiness, relaxation and meditation, or working with particular modifications or injury.
Private classes may be purchased via our online booking system and then schedule a time at the studio that is convenient to you.
Add a touch of wellness to your special event by booking a group yoga session with one of our teachers. We can tailor the session to suit your needs, whether it’s for a sporting team, corporate event or special event with friends.
